How we run class
What our instructors have completed, and the routines every class follows.
Children sign in at the front desk and stay in the dojo until a parent or a named adult comes in for them. We check who is collecting.
Shoes stay off the mat. Jewelry comes off, hair is tied back and nails are short. Pads are wiped down between classes.
Kids' classes have up to 14 students, parent-and-child classes up to 10 pairs, and teen and adult classes up to 16. More than one instructor is on the mat for the largest classes.
Partner work is slow and on pads. Contact to the head is not part of any class.
